Tim Dahle Ford always puts customers first!
Don’t take our word for it: Read our reviews and see what everyone is saying.
If I could rate it a zero I would steer clear from here they have an extremely poor communication with potential customers they have no desire to sell vehicles obviously just stay away your better off elsewhere
They had a truck there that I really wanted but I’d already had a bad experience with them but that was on them serving my truck. I decided to give them another chance and go look at the truck. When I got there they told me the mechanic was doing the inspection on it and he’d go get it. Then after awhile he came back and said the mechanic had locked the keys in his cart and he couldn’t get them. I asked if we could just go look at it and he said yes. So then he took us around the lot and we couldn’t find it. Took us back in side and about 20 later came and told us the manager took it home for the weekend. Came back on Monday and still not there. They did the same thing when I had them look at my truck put 200 miles on it over the weekend and left there fast food garbage in my truck. I’ll never do business with them
Dealership Review A fantastic experience at TimDahle Ford! The service department was incredibly helpful, clearly explaining the issue with my car. They completed the work efficiently and on time, and I felt confident that my vehicle was fixed properly. The staff was friendly and professional throughout the process, and I'll definitely be returning for future maintenance. Thank you to my service advisor, Matthew Mumford for getting my vehicle to the dealership and back to me without any issue. I felt taken care of and grateful for the exceptional service!
Tim Dahle was amazing. Ben was friendly and hospitable from the beginning to the end of our search for a new car and helped us find an excellent deal. And when the main car we wanted to look at was still being prepped in the shop, Bryson went out of his way to bring it to our house the next day for a test drive. All the reps showed very genuine care while assisting us. Even in the dealership, everybody was so kind, and there were always snacks and drinks on hand. They were respectful to our needs, treated us so well, and gave us an exceptional deal on our new family car. 10/10 recommend to anyone looking for a friendly dealership with awesome service.
They sold me a car that I paid 6,300 for to me and my family. I'm 4 months pregnant and drove over 3 hours to get the car. They sold me a car that leaked excessively and is dangerous for me to drive home with my 6 year old. Thet are snakes and do not care about you or your family.
Do not go to this dealership. They sold me a Ford Escape with less than 3,000 miles on it. It looked brand new. The salesperson said it had been in a minor fender bender in the back and it had been fixed. The airbags didn't deploy. The airbag light was on. The salesperson wasn't going to tell me that until my wife asked about it when she seen in on the Carfax. I didn't notice the airbag light was on when I test drove it. I took it to two auto body shops. The car has had major frame damage, exhaust system and faulty airbags. The car should of been totaled. $12,000-$20,000 damage. If there was still an inspection in the state of Utah this car will not pass. I contacted the salesperson to see if they would take the car back or give some of my money back. They will not work with you. I'm stuck with a car that isn't safe to be on the road.
Needs to be a zero rating. Authorized my bank for wire transfer. Dealership called my bank with wiring instructions. Wire was sent. 4 hours later was told truck was sold to someone else. Tomorrow I get to spend the day trying to get my money back. Nothing nice to say except they are morally bankrupt people. WAS going to be a first time Ford owner. Ford should be mindful of who they allow to represent their brand. Once a liar...
I would never buy a vehicle from this dealership! I was promised the vehicle I came down to test drive had the features I was looking for and it did not. That was my first waste of time. I gave the sales person another shot. Dumb on my part. The next vehicle was one the sales manager had been driving. I was told the vehicle had 500 miles on it, NO, it had 3200. Not only that, it had so many scratches on it from the sales manager taking it off-roading it looked beat to heck. None of this was mentioned to me. Then they were shocked when I pointed it out. Never buy from them!
Please do not go to this dealership, They don’t stand behind their work. They are the most dishonest group I’ve ever dealt with. Chris is the service manager there and he is not a trustworthy person at all! Ben is his boss and he never will return calls or makes anyone responsible for the work they do there. I had my truck there three different times the first time they kept my vehicle for a month and the repair was supposed to take a day. I now have more damage to my truck then when I first went in because the person that worked on it had no idea what he was doing and it’s going to cost three times the amount of money then when I first came in and Ben told me to come get my truck and they weren’t reasonable for any damage! I had to tow the truck up on a flat bed … it is not drivable. Please don’t go here they are so dishonest.
Called sales department about used vehicle. Told them I would be down in 3 days to look at vehicle. Called the day before and it was still there. Made arrangements to see it. Called day of visit and set a time. Drove 87 miles to the dealership (after driving 240 miles to the area). Arrived and was told that the vehicle was out as a courtesy car!! Manager told me that he would try to get car back for the next day. Never heard from him. Called 3 days later and it had just gotten back!! Glad I went with another dealership!! Don't waste your time!! If you are going to visit have sales person take a picture of the car being there before you waste your time!!
Horrible service department experience!!! · Charged surprise fees (dishonest communication) · Wouldn’t call back, unable to contact · BBB Rating of “F” 1.67 of 5 stars. (Checked on 11/21/2022) · DIDN'T REPAIR THE CAR! We bought our car here and had been happy with it until it wouldn't start. I called the service department and spoke with Jon, who looked up our account and we had the worry-free maintenanp plan, so they could do a free tow, do a diagnostic to figure out the problem. They towed the car in on a Tuesday. I called Wednesday hoping for an update. I was put on hold for 20 minutes and then hung up on, and then when I called back, I was told no one was available to speak to me. They never called back, so I called again a couple of times on Thursday, and each time no one was available to speak with me. Thursday evening Chris called to say that they finally had been able to look at the car, and he sent over a quote. The quote said the problem was that we needed a new battery, and they wanted a crazy high price to drop in the new battery. I said no, and that if the battery was the only problem, we'd just pick one up and come drop it in ourselves. Chris told me that we could do that, but if they didn't do the work for us, that they then would have to charge us the diagnostic fee, which was around $183. I clarified that if we brought in our own battery and had them install it, that we wouldn't have to pay the diagnostic fee, and that we would only pay for the labor, which would be less than $183. Chris said yes, he would only charge us for the labor. I verbally agreed to this, but Chris never sent over a new estimate showing the charges, and I never signed anything. I trusted that when he said he would only charge us for the labor, that this is what he meant. First thing Friday morning my husband took them the battery that we bought. He dropped it off with some men at the service department and told them what it was for. An hour later Chris called, asking if we were going to be bringing in a battery, and when we told him we already had, he asked us where we had left it, so we told him we had left it with the other guys there and had explained what it was for. THEY LOST OUR BATTERY!?!! I called back in a few hours later to see if they had found it, but of course Chris was unavailable again and never called me back. At this point we were very frustrated at having gone so many days without our car with so little communication. Finally, Friday night someone named Dakota called to let us know that our car was finished. I asked him for the total cost, and he said $333.33. I explained to him that this isn't what me and Chris agreed upon, and explained the story, but since Dakota isn't a manager, he couldn't help us, and we had to wait until Monday to get everything straightened out. I called again Monday morning asking for Chris, and of course he was not available to speak to me. We gave up on phone communication and drove in that afternoon. When we were finally able to speak to Chris face-to-face, he told me that he never said I didn't have to pay the diagnostic fee, denied everything. He lied to our faces and wouldn't hold up to what he told us over the phone. He even had the audacity to tell us that he had waived the "tow fee" for us, the one Jon had told me was free almost a week before. We finally just gave in and paid the money, determined to get it back later through small claims court or some other way. THE CAR WOULDN'T START! The new battery had been installed, but they hadn't looked further for other problems. Chris wanted to look at the car to see why it wouldn't start, but at this point we demanded a full refund, which he thankfully gave. We had to jump start our own car in their paying lot after they "fixed" it, and take it to a place that we trust to actually fix the problem. Don't ever bring your car here unless you like to waste lots of time, be lied to about prices (when they finally will communicate with you at all), and have surprise fees thrown at you. We will certainly never be back.
When you buy a car at Tim Dahle Ford, expect them to slap on an additional $1600 “up-and-running” fee at the very end. This is something “all of their vehicles are put through” to ensure you’re leaving their lot with a “safe” vehicle… This is a fee that, according to my sales rep, Carlos, is added to every vehicle, but for some reason, they don’t just include it in the sticker price? Weird! Anyway, I negotiate the fee to half of the $1600 initially suggested… I drive my car off the lot and notice a strange clunking sound in the left rear, almost like a bolt is loose. I take my car into a mechanic to have it looked at (because this car is used and came without a warranty from the dealership.) Apparently, part of Tim Dahle Ford’s “up and running” service included a VERY shoddy brakes installation. Per the mechanic’s notes: “Left rear caliper slide bolts missing.” He would not let me drive my car from the shop until this was fixed, because I ran the risk of losing complete functionality of my brakes at ANY MOMENT. The mechanic attempted contacting Tim Dahle Ford for the parts needed to repair their hazardous installation, but they were unable to help. I then contacted my sales rep, Carlos, to give them the opportunity to make this extremely concerning and dangerous situation right by simply paying the $165 bill to repair their shop’s VERY hazardous install that could have ultimately led to a horrible car accident, endangering myself and the general public, and a possible lawsuit against them if I or anyone else had sustained any injuries or worse, resulting from this hazardous brakes install. They decided to ignore me instead of attempting to make anything right. Who knows how many shoddy brake installations are leaving Tim Dahle Ford’s shop. For the safety of yourself and others, I do not recommend buying a car from this dealership. And I definitely don’t recommend taking your car to their shop for repair….
Been working with Tim Dahle Ford for over a year now trying to get my transmission repaired. TCM went out in Sept of 2021 and couldnt get the parts until Dec of 2021. That part failed in July of 2022, after I paid almost 2500.00 6 months prior. It is now mid November and I'm still without a car and no replacement part in sight. I do think I need a refund on the original repair that failed.
Very poor communication. I’ve now had multiple poor experiences so I know it’s not a fluke. They also have an off site answering service that screens their calls to facilitate their avoidance. They would save themselves time and customer frustration if they would be even slightly proactive in their communication
I was quoted $155.00 for a three pack of oil changes. When I picked up the car I was charged $250.00. I was told it’s because my car takes full synthetic oil. They have serviced my car before, they know the make and model. So they should have known this when giving me the quote. No phone call before the services no warning. Just Gotcha!!! On top of that they wanted to charge me $1,600 for tires that “needed to be replaced” that only have 30,000 miles on them. And to top it off, the car wasn’t due for an oil change, the sensor was showing maintenance needed for the 30,000 mile service, but of course they didn’t tell me that!!!! Congratulations Tim Dahle, you just collected the last $250.00 from me, and I’ve purchased two new fords in the last five years, and had them serviced about a dozen times, and my f-150 has 99,000 miles on it, and I’m looking to replace it. Guess where I’m NOT going to go look???
Should be a Zero. It's incredible what a bad service department does to a decent sales experience. I have purchased 3 trucks with Tim Dahle Spanish Fork. Never buy a service contract or have your vehicle serviced with them. ZERO reliability.
This is hands down the most inefficient/incompetent service operation I have ever encountered. 1) I stopped in the day before to secure an appointment for oil change. ( 12:15 for following day ) 2) arrived at about 11:50 and checked in. Service Recommended additional items beyond oil change, provided me a quote for all work work of $198, which I agreed to. 3) Advised that it would take about an hour. 4) checked in after over 2 hours at about 2:10. Approached a service counter person to inquire. She acted surprised that I would ask her as she was not the one to help initially. Told me to see Damien who was talking with someone else. I waited and he advised car wasn't in yet, would still be about an hour! 5) waited another hour before phone call car was done. Went to service area to finalize 3:20. Damien is still busy... Checked with Chris to get and pay bill. Chris is also surprised that I should talk to him and not the person that initially checked me in. I pointed out that Damien was busy and I've been here over 3 hours. He says just a minute and disappears in to the service bays, never to return. 6) I wait until Damien acknowledged me, I say I got a call that my car was ready, Damien wants to know if it was the f150!! 7) He finally locates the paper work and presents me a bill for $260!! There is no excuse for an estimate to be that far off on a service that you must do several of each day! I have never seen such a slip shod unhelpful, bordering on rude, service organization in my life. Good luck staying in the service business with your attitude. By the way, the lot sales people were courteous, helpful and expressed concern at the length of time I spent wandering around the lot. The only shining light in an otherwise dismal experience.
I got a new Ford 150 from Tim Dahle Ford in 2018, absolutely loved my truck but it began shutting down on the freeway, sensors said it was overheating but it was actually not. I brought it back to Tim Dahle to have it fixed under warranty. It took 3 trips to get it fixed. They replaced sensors twice and finally the wiring harness and that fixed it. My truck got a check engine light recently and I took to another dealer. They explained that the present problem was due to a broken plastic part. Turns out that part had been had been glued ( instead of replaced) during the warranty work by the Tim Dahle service dept. And when I took it back, they said there was no proof it was their mistake, and they would not cover it! Thank You Tim Dahle!
Bought a used car from them on May 12 2022. CarFax that they handed me shows that Tim Dahle Fold did an emissions test and safety inspection on the car on April 30 2022. After trying to register the car with the DMV the car did not pass emissions. Called the dealer and they DID NOT do an inspection or safety/emission test. Worst part is they saw no issue with this deceptive and false advertising claim of emission and safety knowing that it was not done. They were shocked that I was upset and said there was nothing dishonest about it. How can you knowingly lie to the public and stay in business?? When you hand a customer a document that shows an emission test was done, we take that at face value to mean it was completed. And to not see this as deceptive? Stunning If you value integrity in a business this is not your place!
After some problems that were experienced with the orginal vehicle Tim Dahle dealership went above and beyond to make things right. Highly recommend!
purchased a used 2015 Sentra from Tim Dahle Ford in December 2021. The day I picked up my car, I noticed the SD Card was missing. I immediately informed my salesman and service. Without the SD card, I am unable to use the navigation features, and many others. I was told I bought the car as is, and I would have to purchase one through there dealership in Salt Lake City. The card is over $200. Recently, my engine light came on, and I noticed the transmission was slipping. Spoke with Spanish Fork Service which informed me they do not work on Nissans and I would have to go to their Salt Lake facility. I made an appointment, and brought my car in on 3/23/2022. (47 miles from my home). Had to leave my car there. Few hours afterwards, I received a call from Tim, Service, telling me I needed a new transmission, and there were other issues that needed to be repaired that was causing the engine light to appear. I also informed Tim my driver side door handle was broken and needed to be fixed. When I purchased the car in December, I purchased a warranty which I was told covered practically all matters regarding any repairs. Luckily, the transmission is covered, but in order to repair all other matters, an approximately figure of $900.00. Tim told me those issues were not under warranty. I reviewed the warranty papers and it clearly stated any door locks, handle, etc. was under warranty. The engine light problem was due to clogged hoses, approximately $300??? I called the warranty company and was treated like dirt. The claim representative would not state is name, told me I am not reading my paperwork correctly. His attitude was cold and cruel. Under my warranty, I have the option to have a lend car while my car is being serviced. Never offered! I was never told all repairs could not be performed at the Spanish Fork dealership. I have put in calls to Spanish Fork and the Salt Lake area locations seeking additional information, and requesting a car for lend since my car will not be ready for nearly a week. No return calls. I am totally disgusted with the way I have been treated, but of course, only started after I purchased the car. This car was never checked for any problems in Spanish Fork, and with their admission, they do not work on Nissans. Then way the xxxx are you selling them?? I totally regret I did not return to Ken Garff for my vehicle purchase. Additionally I wound never recommend buying a used car at any of the Tim Dahle locations, and if you do, bring a lawyer!!!
The sales side was great to work with. Service side sucks First oil change in november 4 hours with apointment. Went today with apointment they told me 2 to 3 hours. I said f no i have apointment at 12:30 She goes were behind. I left. After 2 trucks purchased there , Never again
My complaint with Tim Dahle Ford is with their contracting and Finance department. I bought a used truck from them. The deal included a $350 charge for Drivepur cleaning service. In the contract I am allowed $300 of that back if I am more than 50 miles from a dealership (which I am) They also charged $299 for anit-theft protection. The contract also allows me to cancel that service which I tried to do. But I was told I had to get form for their finance department. Finance calls me and tells me that they will not allow me to get a refund on these two charges even though it is in the contract. Now knowing how these people treat their customers I could never recommend them or buy from them again. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS DEALER AT ALL!
Great salesman, great dealership. Most dealerships try and get the most out of you before you walk out the door. These guys are not exception. But overall a good experience
Great dealership around Definitely recommended Got my bronco from them Absolutely love it Sean I’s the guy to go for
